Maaveeran opened with poor response on day one and picked up with rocket speed. Maaveeran got Housefulls in Tamilnadu and the positive mouth talk is helping it.
Geetha Arts later released in more centers with nine more prints in Tamilnadu. As per the trade sources, the film has collected around Rs 8 Crores, where as the dubbing cost of the movie is around Rs1.5 crores.
The producers, Geetha Arts who released the film in collaboration with Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies are very happy with the results.
