Trisha Krishnan was born on May 4, 1983 in Palakkad, Kerala, India. Her parents and Uma Krishnan, Tamil Iyer. She completed her studies from Sacred Heart Church Park School and later joined the Ethiraj College in Chennai.
Trisha took modeling. She participated and won several competitions such as Miss Salem 1999, Miss Chennai in 1999 and she also was voted Miss Beautiful Smile in Miss India contest in 2001.
She has seen the ads for Josco Jewellers, Fair & Lovely and a popular music video with Falguni Pathak Meri Jaye called Chunnar ud ud. Other names that are associated with Trisha jack, Scooty PEP and Cadbury's perk.

Trisha Krishnan received her first break in movies with a small part in a Tamil film Jodi (1999). But it is Priyadarshan's Laysa Laysa (2002), which got her noticed. Maunam Pesiyadhe (2002), in which she stars with Surya won the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award (Tamil). This is a top grosser at the box office.
She is entitled to some of the most successful actors in the South as Madhavan, Prabhas, Surya, Siddharth, Dhanush, and Vikram Arya.
She has given several hits in Saamy (2003), ghillie (2004) Varsham (2004), Aayitha Ezhuthu (2004) and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantan (2005). Both Varsham and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantan pulls her many awards including Filmfare Best Actor Award (Telugu).
