Blood Donation

There was a blood donation drive on Thursday
I decided to go for a try since I didn't donate for the first one during PAE

I signed up for the time slot for 1-2pm during the common lunch break.
and I have Chemistry Practical at 2pm.
So.... I was supposed not to miss Chem.
yes, SUPPOSED...
but well, I went to the place at 1.30pm and the queue was loong...
so that means.... I missed the whole of Chem Pract :)
It wasn't my fault that I missed the practical...
Ok, I admit that I kinda anticipated the queue and intentionally went there later at 1.30
smart right?

Anyway, it wasn't as painful as it seemed.
It was quite fun actually...
OMG, I think donating blood is addictive!

Btw, one of my DB senior's reason for not donating blood was...
"After all the trainings, my red blood cells have became very efficient so if I donate, it'll be a waste. But if I haven't been training, then i'll donate :)"

Jia Bing's birthday was yesterday
and the seniors was really mean to him
this was how they "celebrated" his birthday...
they pinned him down on the track
took off his shirt
spread wasabi on his body
and sprayed darn lot of adidas deodorant.
smashed cakes on his face

and they even put bomb bags into his pants

Oh, I saw this label on my friend's jacket
It says "wash this when dirty"

like DUH!
of course you wash clothes when it's dirty!
LOL

BUSY...

I've been pretty busy and tired...
the life of a JC dragonboater is really demanding...
but hey, I'm loving my new life :)

every week revolves around completing tutorials, revising notes, DB training, personal training and clearing of logsheets.
when I come to think of it, it's actually kinda cool.
because when you are busy with this and that, it makes you feel that your life is really exciting and that every second was spent meaningfully.
agree?

Oh and by the way, we have this DB logsheet thingy...
every week, we have to complete 250 push-ups, 150 chin-ups and 14km run.
and all this excludes the stuff we do during 'official' trainings...
interesting yea?
the senior guys had it worse.
They have to complete 24km per week!

I'm a busy boy man :)
during my free time, I will love to just SLACK and RELAX.
not much time for other activities I guess...
even if I want to have a girlfriend, I doubt I can afford the time
haha

I don't think I'll be updating my blog frequently...
maybe just once a week....
I'm busy and...... LAZY!

passed initiation on wednesday
we got our bai long shirt :)
I didn't get the new one though, instead Yi He passed me his just for the ceremony...
have to return it to him tmr...

Oh man
initiation was no joke!
I swear I was whining like a bitch during the middle stations
of course, I've made it...
and just like most of the juniors, I have blisters on my palm...
no, not the kind you get from doing chin-ups
but the kind u get on the sole of your feet...
Big and ouch-y!
plus my whole body is friggin darn ached!
Anyway, it was all worth it :)

Oh and the funniest thing...
our seniors told us that their seniors were so much fiercer during their initiation
and they were shouting stuff like :"We've all went through this before!!!"
But the truth was revealed by Mr Tommy Lee (tcher-ic)
Our seniors were actually the first batch to have gone through initiation
so that means their seniors were all bullshiting!
LOL


Ponned Maths lecture yesterday...
4 of us were chatting on the bench BESIDE THE LT
and.... we got caught by our own math tutor!!!
Fucking suay can!
Don't ask why we were even beside the LT
haha

Having training in the noon tmr
10km run from kallang to east coast park tmr...
with my muscles still aching bad, I doubt I'll survive the run.

Mural Painting

We didn't have lessons on thursday! YAY
instead, we had to paint the walls of HDB void decks around the school
Damn cool lah.
I wished they could do the same to the blocks around my house..
I want to move to serangoon already!
everywhere is soooo pretty :)

In case you didn't know and would like to know.
we painted 30 walls as part of our 30th anniversary celebration :)

we had lots of fun as a class.
I think we did a good job =)

HELLO!

Firstly, I wanna complain!
NYJC is sucking lots of money from us!
I'm damn broke now ok!

We had to buy :
Chem tys - $9
Bio tys - $9
Chinese - $6.80
Econs - $7.30
Class fund - $$$
House tee - $10.60
pe shorts - $8
Newsweek - $26
and the list goes on and on...
HAIZ....

My school starts at 9.00am every Monday :)
Cool huh?
BUT
We dragon boaters have to come at 7.30 for training.
We have to do 'fart legs' (is that how it's spelt?) every monday
fart legs = sprints with short rests in between
This week : 800m, 400m, 400m, 300m, 200m, 200m, 100m
It was damn "shiok"!!!

No pain
