Mr Ling rocks!!!

No doubt, Mr Ling is the most generous teacher i've ever had
on Friday night, he gave the graduating soccer players a treat to kbox at marina square
he booked 2 rooms for 4 hours
10 of us turned up
it was my first time to kbox and i wouldn't say its my last
its fun but expensive
how expensive?
the total bill for that night was around $500!!!
after the 4 hours were up
Mr Ling wanted to extend for another hour but the place was already fully booked
the girls then suggested going to Cineleisure and sing till the next morning.
Mr Ling agreed!
but in the end, we went home cos a few of us, including me, didnt want...

that night reminded me of all the other accounts of Mr Ling's generosity
here goes:
He gave the whole soccer team a dinner treat at seoul garden
He booked a chalet for the soccer team and sponsored our BBQ dinner
For all the soccer camps cum BBQ, he paid for all the food
He gave the team many many many MacDonald's treat
He bought Adidas jersey for the team with his OWN money. Mind you, the school paid NOTHING
During soccer friendlies, he paid for the buses and referees with his OWN money
bus = $40 referee = $50
(number of soccer friendlies) X $90 = $$$$$$$$$$

there could be more but that's all i can think of at this moment.
so ya convinced about his generosity?

Jiayu aka angel approached me and asked me if i wanna chip in to treat Mr Ling to dinner on his birthday in September.

back 2 school

Went back to school on Monday after my Grandpa's wake
During the wake, the bonds between my cousins and my sisiter and I have improved tremendously
they are really fun to be with
introducing 4 year old Titus!
He's damn cute!

Minutes earlier, his maid asked him to take a nap and he refused
Later... he fell asleep on the sofa...

Now, back to school...
have been pretty busy these few days
trying to catch up on what i have missed last week

Of course, the world cup final was a hot chit-chat topic
Italy's victory was big news
Whats bigger was Zidane's headbutt
Everyone is figuring what did Materazzi did to Zidane to agitate him like that

During the last period (free) today
my class boys were playing some soccer game on paper
thought it was pretty dumb............until i tried it

My grandpa...

My paternal grandpa just passed away peacefully in his sleep...
He was the greatest grandpa i can ever asked for
For 16 years, i've never seen him lose his temper; shout or scold
Although my grandma is hard to please and can be very annoying at times
He never once lost his patience
Even on his death bed, he still cared about us
There's just so much about him

I will never forget how he held my hands in the hospital
I too will never forget his last few words to me:
He wanted me to be like my sister and study hard

I will definitely promise him that and do my very best
