Jogayya breaks Super record at Box Office

Shivaraj Kumar 100th movie Jogayya, which was released on 19th August, has got grand opening at the Box Office on the first day. The movie has broken the Box Office record set by Real star Upendra's movie Super. According to director Prem, its collection has crossed Rs 3.75 crores (including the theatres rent) from 220 theatres.

Puneet Rajkumar starrer Jackie has set a new record by grossing nearly Rs. 2 crore from 120 screens on its opening day. Later, Upendra's Super, which was released in 150 cinema halls, broke this record with its collection of more than Rs. 2 crores. Now, the movie Jogayya has erased all the records and set left its own mark at the collection centres.

The movie Jogayya has received mixed response from both film critics and movie buffs. But the hype of the film drove the audience crazy to theatres. The movie opened in 70 plus theatres in in BKT area (Bangalore, Kolar and Tumkur) and it has roughly collected Rs.1.54 crores in this area. Prem and his producer wife Rakshita are hopeful that it will continue to do well at the collection centres.
