2012 Novitec Rosso Ferrari FF

Novitec Rosso revealed their own souped-up version of the Ferrari FF, the 2012 Novitec Rosso Ferrari FF. The Novitec Rosso Ferrari is more than just a combination of names.

It is a result of a sophisticated program that refines the bodywork and the engine, making the car look better and drive faster.

Engine

The stock Ferrari FF has a 12-cylinder 6.3 liter engine that delivers 660 horsepower. Novitec Rosso has re-calibrated the ECU system of the engine and installed their proprietary high-performance, stainless-steel exhaust system, boosting the power output to 702 horsepower. The updated engine gives the car a new top speed of 211 mph.

Performance

Other updates done by Novitec Rosso improved the car's performance. These new features include the Novitec Rosso sports springs that lower the center of gravity, ultra-light rims that reduce the weight of the car and new tires that provide optimal traction. As a result, the Novitec Rosso Ferrari becomes even sportier, nimbler and safer.

Exterior

The bodywork for the Novitec Rosso Ferrari entails an aerodynamic and lightweight scheme for which carbon fiber is used. The lines and curves are sleek and its bright yellow color makes the car truly eye-catching. The black front grille and rims, and the black accents on the side and the rear complement the bright yellow color.

Interior

Novitec Rosso did not disclose details about their interior updates for the Ferrari FF. It is reasonable to assume that the interior can be customized to the owner's preference.

Pros

The Novitec Rosso Ferrari FF is more powerful than its stock form. It now looks sportier and more masculine with the exterior touches. As far as speed and performance are concerned, you certainly ask for more. The car definitely gives you style and power on the road. Sports car enthusiasts will love this.

Cons

Since the engine has been modified, it will use more fuel. Grand touring purists will be disappointed with its performance car setup.

If fuel consumption is not an issue and you're not satisfied with the stock car, the 2012 Novitec Rosso Ferrari FF should be on your sights.

2012 Novitec Rosso Ferrari 458 Spider

The designer kit by Novitec Rosso, created for Ferrari's 458 Spider model, includes super-lightweight forged wheels, 609 hp, 202 mph top speed and a carbon aero kit that makes the Spider even faster and a lot more dynamic.

Among the upgrades include a unique, staggered 21" and 22" forged wheel combo with a new suspension system that includes the ability to make ride-height adjustments hydraulically, power increase, and a new high performance exhaust system.

Novitec Rosso makes further customization available by offering features like black lamps and custom-tailored interiors.

Aerodynamic Carbon Fiber

Carbon fiber isn't just used for F1 racing car enhancements; it is also the material of choice for Novitec Rosso's upgrades to the 458 Spider. The carbon fiber kit offers a high level of aerodynamic efficiency as well as an impressive new look.

The front fascia has been upgraded with a 2-piece front spoiler and includes side flaps that allow for reduced lift while travelling at high speeds. The wings and ventilation grill in the front have also been molded out of carbon fiber to enhance the sleek new look. Carbon fiber skirts also give the side of the slick 2-seater an even sportier appearance.

On the rear, the bezel that surrounds the fogs lamps, and the diffuser, has also been upgraded to carbon fiber components. Optional carbon fiber upgrades include rear spoiler, rear wings and black side markers.

NF4

The new wheels are the perfect combination of visual beauty and stunning aerodynamics. In the 458 Spider kit, king-sized tires have been offered to give the sports car a typical Ferrari wedge-shaped appearance. The 21" and 22" tire/wheel combos, though large in size are extremely lightweight thanks to the delicate double-spoked design on the wheels.

PZero high performance tires are supplied by Pirelli in 255/30 ZR 21 on the front and 335/25 ZR 22 on the back. Alternatively, the popular NF3 wheels in diameters 20-22" remain an available option.

Suspension

At the press of a button, the 458 Spider front suspension can now be raised by 4cm to navigate past curbs or traverse underground parking garages with ease. As it reaches 50 mph, the high-tech hydraulic system automatically re-adjusts itself so the front reverts back to its original height.
