Q: If you are 28 years old. Your height is 5’3 inches and weight 55kg?
A: Simply, burn off body fats by running, jogging, swimming, and by any form of intense exercise for half an hour a day. If you want to accelerate it a bit, work out with weights and do pull ups, chin ups, bicep curls etc. Here are some of the basic arm exercises which you can start right away:
· Barbell Bicep Curls: This is one of the basic biceps exercise. You can stand and work with the barbell or you can sit down and put your elbows on bench and work in that way.
· Dumbbell Bicep Curls: Change the barbell with dumbbells. You can do this exercise at your home if you want, but you will need dumbbells. Do around three routines with 8-15 lifts in the beginning.
· Cable Curls: One of the best triceps exercise for women. Put low weight and do slowly triceps extensions, pushing the cable downwards. Keep your elbows near your body and concentrate only on your triceps muscle. Do 3-4 routines with 14-10 lifts.
Q: If you are a young girl aged 15. your height is 5’3 inches and weight 65kg. You have extra fat around my waist and hips?
A: Your BMI is 25.5, which means that you are over weight. You are suggested to revise your eating habits and also adopt an active lifestyle. I am giving you some tips for controlling your weight. Just stick to these and see the amazing difference in the near future.
Take two fruits with every meal. This will fill your stomach and help you cut down on the calories you would take in from other foods.
Eat at regular intervals. Eating at odd times would upset your whole diet. It is always advisable to maintain a specific schedule and always stick to it.
Never skip your meals. Skipping a meal might seem like cutting on calories but that’s not the case. You are basically starving yourself which is very wrong. The next meal that you eat will be converted to pure fat. This will eventually cause you to gain weight rather than losing.
Eat slowly. Generally when we're in a hurry, we just tend to swallow down whole chunk of food. We do not realize when we're full and when we're overeating. Eating slowly will not only give you satisfaction but you will also realize when to stop.
Avoid processed food. Saturated and trans fats found in processed foods will encourage your body to lay down extra stores of fat. These contain high levels of salt and sugar. Take potatoes instead of French fries, whole wheat bread versus doughnuts etc.
